Disability North seeks a Male Personal Assistant to support a 19-year-old man with cerebral palsy. The role covers mornings and some evening social support. You will assist with getting up, personal care, and transfers using hoists while encouraging independence and participation in hobbies like football and music.
Applicants should be patient, upbeat, and sociable. A driving role is preferred, and PEG experience is a bonus.
Hours: 6 hours in mornings. Hours in evenings to be discussed

Rates of pay: £13.43 per hour (Possibly increased for right person)

We’re looking for a Male Personal Assistant to support a bright, funny and sociable 19‑year‑old young man with bilateral dyskinetic cerebral palsy. He splits his time between mum and dad, and while at mum’s he needs support 6:30am–8:30am to get ready for college (on a rota, not every week). There are also opportunities for evening social support a couple of times a week.
