Female PE Teacher

Location: Enfield

Type: Full Time

Role Overview

Your primary aim in this role is to provide high-quality teaching while promoting student achievement and engagement in alignment with our school's vision and values.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the learning and success of all students, emphasizing equal opportunities for everyone.
  2. Uphold the highest standards of work and conduct.
  3. Interact with students respectfully, maintaining professional boundaries.
  4. Collaborate effectively with students, parents/carers, governors, colleagues, and external agencies in the best interest of our students.
  5. Abide by school policies and procedures.
Teaching Responsibilities
  1. Deliver relevant curriculum content tailored to the age and abilities of students.
  2. Prepare teaching materials, programs, and pastoral arrangements as required.
  3. Be responsible for students' attainment, progress, and outcomes.
  4. Understand students' capabilities and prior knowledge; plan differentiated instruction accordingly.
  5. Address the diverse needs of all students, including those with SEND, EAL, gifted and talented, employing appropriate teaching strategies.
  6. Promote high literacy standards, including correct spoken English within your subject area.
  7. If teaching early reading, employ suitable strategies such as systematic synthetic phonics.
  8. Use observation, assessment, and monitoring techniques to set challenging learning objectives and track progress.
  9. Use assessment data to support student progress and provide regular feedback, both orally and through marking.
  10. Encourage students to respond to feedback, reflect on their progress, and take responsibility for their learning.
  11. Leverage data to monitor progress, set targets, and plan future lessons.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
