Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a compassionate Female Paediatric Nurse (RNC) for Community Complex Care in Basildon. The role involves home-based care for a child with complex needs, including medication administration and clinical support.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 10am–4pm. Applicants must be an NMC-registered Children’s Nurse and able to deliver high-quality, family-centred care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Children’s Nurse with NMC PIN.
• Experience caring for children with complex healthcare needs.
• Experience in community/paediatric complex care settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personalised care plans and risk assessments.
• Deliver and oversee complex clinical interventions.

Female Paediatric Nurse (RNC) – Complex Care (Community)

Location: Basildon
Pay Rate: £28.37 per hour (including holiday pay)
Shifts/Hours: Monday - Friday Days - 10am - 4pm

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Registered Paediatric Nurse to join our Complex Care team, supporting children and young people with complex healthcare needs in their homes and local communities.

About the Role

As a Community Complex Care Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for children and young people with a range of complex medical conditions. You will work closely with families, carers, support workers, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective care tailored to each child’s needs.

In this role you will be supporting our 3 year old male client who is living with several complex care needs. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medication and managing clinical interventions (listed below)

Skills/Interventions

• Ventilation via mask
• Humidification
• Deep Suctioning
• Oxygen therapy
• Chest Physio (percussion/vibrations)
• Administration of nebulisers via ventilation
• Care and use of dual port PEG-J

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Registered Children’s Nurse (RSCN/RN Child) with a valid PIN.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Experience caring for children with complex healthcare needs.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and family-centred care approach.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children and young people.
