Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care is seeking a live-in care worker in the Plymouth area. The role includes 8 hours per day with breaks and overnight stays, supporting a client with dementia who has a risk of falling. Prior UK care experience is required, driving licence preferred but not essential.

You’ll cover a pattern of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, with weekly pay and benefits such as DBS, holiday pay and pension schemes. Customer-focused, empathetic professionals are encouraged to apply.

• At least 6 months’ paid care experience in the UK.
• Driving licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with personal care tasks.
• Administering medication.
• Preparing and encouraging fluids and nutrition.

• Maintaining skin integrity.
• Domestic duties and shopping when appropriate.
• Maintaining and updating care records.

Plymouth area – £740 per week – Weekly Pay / Free DBS / Holiday Pay

We do not offer sponsorship.

The cover pattern is 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. You will be supporting a female client who has dementia and has a risk of falling. The cover is 8 hours per day to allow for breaks and also an overnight stay on location.

In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake enhanced DBS/PVG, right to work, reference and employment history checks in line with government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
