Prestige Nursing & Care East Lancashire is seeking Professional Home Care workers to join our growing team to support clients in Burnley. You will provide compassionate personal care, mobility support, meal prep and companionship in clients’ homes, following care plans and reporting to supervisors.

We offer mandatory and client-specific training, flexible hours (full-time, part-time or bank positions), and weekly pay with accrued holiday pay. A driving licence and caring attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence required.
• Experience working in care.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport.
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with personal care tasks (bath, dress, grooming).
• Support mobility and transfers to help clients move safely at home.
• Help with meal preparation and light household chores.
• Administer medication per care plans and monitor health conditions.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness.
• Maintain accurate care records and report concerns to supervisors.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities and ensure safe transport.
• Follow care plans to meet individual needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family and healthcare professionals.

Prestige Nursing & Care East Lancashire are seeking Professional Home Care workers to join our growing team to support clients in Burnley.

Having secured a significant amount of new work opportunities, we need compassionate, committed, caring staff to join our team and support our service users across the region.

We provide all staff members with our mandatory training programme, and further client-specific training where necessary. We offer our members a variety of work patterns with service users throughout East Lancashire. We can offer flexibility with either full time, part time or bank position’s.

The Role:

Tasks may include:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support with mobility and transfers to help clients move safely around their home
• Help with meal preparation and light household chores to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
• Administer medication as per care plans and monitor health conditions
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring safe transportation
• Follow care plans meticulously to meet individual needs and preferences
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Hours

AM – 0700-1400 – Morning and lunch calls

PM – 1500-2200 – Teas and bed’s

Requirements

• Valid driving licence
• Experience working in a care
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
