Prestige Nursing & Care East Lancashire is seeking Professional Home Care workers to join our growing team and support clients in Burnley and surrounding areas. We offer flexible hours with options across full time, part time or bank positions, plus a mandatory training programme and client-specific training where needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence.
• Experience working in a care setting.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members.

• Reliable, organised and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support with mobility and transfers to help clients move safely at home.
• Home meal preparation and light household chores to maintain a clean environment.
• Administer medication as per care plans and monitor health conditions.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report concerns to supervisors.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring safe transport.
• Follow care plans to meet individual needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members and healthcare professionals.
