Job summary

Priority Recruitment Services Ltd. seeks an experienced female care worker to support a 20-year-old living with Cerebral Palsy in her own home in the Garstang area. The role focuses on enabling independence, engaging in community activities, and providing personal and clinical care with strong communication.

You will be involved in PEG feeding, medication administration, mobility support, and therapy participation, with ongoing supervision from a care management team. Driving is required.

Qualifications

• Female only requirement due to personal care needs.
• Experience as a Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant preferred.
• Experience with PEG feeding preferred.
• Experience in complex care and/or disability support.

Responsibilities

• PEG feeding and nutrition.
• Medication administration.
• Respiratory care.
• Personal care.
• Continence care.
• Mobility and physical management.
• Supporting therapy and rehabilitation programmes.
• Driving the client's adapted vehicle.
• Maintaining safety at home and in the community.
• Completing daily records, medication records, timesheets and incident reports.
• Liaising with family members and other professionals.
