Job summary

Routes Healthcare (North) Limited seeks a Female Care Assistant to provide personal and end-of-life care in clients' homes across Sunderland and Washington. You will travel between locations, delivering compassionate support to clients and families with dignity and consistency.

We offer a casual contract with ongoing hours, enhanced mileage, funded DBS and specialist end-of-life training. A valid UK driving licence is essential and you must be able to work across SR1–SR6 and DH4 Washington.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient and emotionally resilient individual.
• Experience in end of life, palliative, or complex care is beneficial but not essential — full training provided.
• Ability to commit to consistent visits with the same client(s), supporting continuity of care.
• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to work across SR1–SR6 and DH4 Washington between the hours of 7am and 10pm

Female Care Assistant – End of Life Care -

Sunderland - SR1-SR6 and Washington - Must be able to travel across all areas.

A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential as the role requires travel between multiple locations.
