Job summary

Routes Healthcare (North) Limited is seeking a Community Care Assistant to travel to clients' homes across Wallsend, Forest Hall, Gosforth or Longbenton, delivering person-centred care. You will provide support between 6:30am and 10pm, including helping with medications and meals.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car. We offer a mileage allowance and a free enhanced DBS, plus 24/7 on-call support and training for new carers.

About the Role

This is a Domiciliary Care Position - you'll be travelling to clients' homes throughout the day to provide person-centered care and support.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect between 6:30am and 10pm
• Supporting with medication management
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Working solo or as part of a 2-person team depending on client needs
• Supporting clients with a variety of different care requirements
• Travelling between client visits throughout your shift
