Job summary

Scottish Rugby is seeking an ambitious female coach to join our Regional Pathway and Game Development team as part of the Female Coach Development Programme in Edinburgh. This full-time development opportunity combines coordinating regional pathways with delivering coach development programmes.

You will gain hands-on experience coaching within the Female National Talent Pathway while being supported to grow your coaching practice, knowledge and confidence.

Salary £30,000 to £35,000 (dependent on experience)

Scottish Rugby is looking for an ambitious female coach to join our Regional Pathway and Game Development team as part of ourFemale Coach Development Programme.

This is a unique full time development opportunity, combining a role supporting the organisation of regional pathway activities, delivery of coach development programmes, with a structured programme ofcoaching and professional development.

The successful candidate will gain hands on experience coaching within the Female National Talent Pathway, while being supported to develop their own coaching practice, knowledge and confidence. You’ll work alongside experienced coaches and staff, access a range of development opportunities, and be given the chance to grow and progress as a coach within Scottish Rugby.

We’re keen to hear from women who are passionate about coaching and have the ambition to develop their career.

What you will be doing:

• Help plan and deliver regional player pathway programmes, working with coaches and medical staff.
• Coach and identify talented players across regional and national female pathways.
• Support coach development and work with clubs and schools to improve player development.

• A genuine passion for coaching and developing players, with the ambition to build a career in rugby.
• A positive, inclusive and player-centred approach that helps others learn and perform at their best.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with players, coaches, colleagues, clubs and schools.
