Job summary

Glasgow Warriors is seeking an experienced coach to support the development and performance of the women’s game in a fast-paced environment. You will help develop and implement technical and tactical skills, backed by video analysis, and collaborate with the wider coaching team.

The role requires leading performance programmes, individual development planning and effective multidisciplinary leadership, with strong communication and stakeholder management. A valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ coaching experience in a high-performance rugby environment.
• Experience leading performance programmes and player monitoring.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical and tactical skills in scrum, lineout, maul and breakdown with video support.
• Lead performance programmes and individual development planning.
• Coordinate team preparation, administration and player selection with staff.

What you will be doing:

• Develop technical and tactical skills in scrum, lineout, maul, breakdown, tackling and ball-carrying, supported by video analysis.
• Apply specialist forwards and contact-area expertise in collaboration with the wider coaching team.
• Support programme planning, training delivery, goal setting and regular individual player feedback.
• Coordinate team preparation, administration and player selection with relevant staff, ensuring alignment across women’s programmes and Scottish Rugby procedures.

What we’re looking for:

• At least five years’ coaching experience in a high-performance rugby environment, ideally in women’s rugby.
• Experience leading performance programmes, including individual development planning and player monitoring.
• Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance player development with competitive performance, supported by specialist coaching expertise and a valid driving licence.
