Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to support a young female client in Caldicot, Monmouthshire.

Our client has cerebral palsy and requires continuous monitoring and care throughout the day and night on a 2:1 basis, always working alongside another experienced team member.

*Due to the client's needs, only female support workers are being recruited at this time.*

Hours:
  • Days: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Waking nights: 9:00 pm - 8:00 am (alternate weekends required)

Support workers must be willing to participate in hydrotherapy and flexible with times.

Waking tasks include:
  • Moving and handling throughout the day and night
  • Monitoring and maintaining observations
  • Administering medications
Responsibilities:

Assist with:

  • Basic household tasks
  • Swimming sessions in the client's pool
  • Utilising the sensory room
Training:

Full, client-specific training will be provided before starting work and upon successful completion of recruitment.

*An Enhanced DBS Check is required.*
