Cera is recruiting full-time and part-time Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in Totnes, working Nights.

Extra Care units offer residents their own self-contained living space within a larger building, with access to care staff based within the unit who provide care to each resident. As a care assistant at our Extra Care Unit, you will support residents with varying needs to live as independently as possible, following personalized care and support plans.

Every client's needs are different. You may assist with housework, help with getting up in the morning, prepare a tasty hot meal, offer a listening ear, assist with medication, or help with washing and dressing. More than just care, our carers become friends, providing companionship, encouragement, and maybe a laugh or two, especially when life is tough. Caring isn't always easy, but many people and their families will be grateful for your support.

• Pay is provided in block shifts with no travel required during your shift.
