Cera is recruiting Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in Totnes. We are hiring for both part-time and full-time permanent positions, including day and night shifts. This role offers secure employment, competitive pay, excellent training, and no prior experience is required.

Extra Care units provide residents with their own self-contained living spaces within a larger building, with access to care staff who support residents with varying needs to maintain independence through personalized care and support plans.

Responsibilities vary per client, including assisting with housework, helping with morning routines, preparing meals, providing companionship, assisting with medication, and helping with personal care. More than just a job, carers become friends, offering human connection, encouragement, and sometimes a laugh when life is tough. While caring can be challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding and appreciated by those you help.

• Pay is in block shifts with no travel during shifts.
