Job Description

Cera are recruiting Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in Okehampton.

We're currently recruiting for both part-time and full-time permanent positions, with day and night shifts available. This is secure, rewarding work that offers competitive pay, excellent training, and no previous experience required.

Our Extra Care units provide residents with the independence of their own self-contained homes, alongside the reassurance of on-site care and support. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping residents live as independently as possible, delivering personalised care tailored to each individual.

No two days are the same. You might be helping someone start their day, preparing a warm meal, supporting with medication, or assisting with personal care. But beyond the practical support, it's the human connection that truly matters - being a friendly face, offering encouragement, and sharing moments of laughter when it's needed most.

Caring isn't always easy, but it's incredibly rewarding. You'll make a real difference to people's lives, and to their families, simply by being there when it counts.

Why Join Our Community?
