Job Description

Cera are recruiting Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in The Orangery.

We're currently recruiting for both part-time and full-time permanent positions, with day and night shifts available. This is secure, rewarding work that offers competitive pay, excellent training, and no previous experience required.

Our Extra Care units provide residents with the independence of their own self-contained homes, alongside the reassurance of on-site care and support. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping residents live as independently as possible, delivering personalised care tailored to each individual.

No two days are the same. You might be helping someone start your day, preparing a warm meal, supporting with medication, or assisting with personal care. But beyond the practical support, it's the human connection that truly matters - being a friendly face, offering encouragement, and sharing moments of laughter when it's needed most.

Caring isn't always easy, but it's incredibly rewarding. You'll make a real difference to people's lives, and to their families, simply by being there when it counts.

Why Join Our Community?

  • Pay is paid in block shifts with no travel required during your shift.
  • Financial Rewards: Enhanced bank holiday rates, holiday pay, and pension scheme.

  • Career Development: Industry-leading career pathways, including QCFs, with various growth routes available.
  • BHN Extras: Access to our premium benefits platform for thousands of discounts on high street shopping and travel.
  • Blue Light Card: Eligibility for the national discount scheme for frontline workers.
  • Travel Savings: Exclusive discounts on fuel, car insurance, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Family First: Enhanced maternity (12 weeks full pay), paternity, and parental leave policies.
  • Complete Wellbeing: Employee assistance programme, mental health first aiders, and eye care scheme.
  • Menopause Accredited Employer: We provide a host of support services for those affected by Menopause and Peri-Menopause. Currently, the only accredited care provider in the UK.
  • Referral Bonus: Earn £400 per referral through our Care Friends scheme.

Your role is powered by Cera Tech - our predictive technology that reduces admin and helps prevent hospitalisations, so you can focus on caring.
