Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is looking for a Care Assistant to help our clients stay independent and dignified at home. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, and support with daily tasks, with full training and ongoing support.

No experience needed—just compassion and reliability. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required to visit clients across Wakefield and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you'll be a vital part of helping our clients maintain independence and dignityin their own homes. This includes emotional and physical support, helping with daily living tasks,and offering companionship.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Preparing meals and assisting with light domestic tasks
• Administering medication
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Encouraging hobbies, interests, and daily routines

Key Requirements

• You don't need experience – just compassion, reliability, and a desire to help others. We'll train you and support your journey every step of the way.
• For this role you require a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up-to-date CV with full work history
