Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is hiring a Care Assistant to support clients at home, helping with daily living tasks and providing companionship. The role focuses on maintaining independence, dignity, and safety for people in their own homes across the UK.

No prior experience is required; full training will be provided. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, along with the right to work in the UK and an up-to-date CV. DBS clearance is welcomed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting).

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you'll be a vital part of helping our clients maintain independence and dignityin their own homes. This includes emotional and physical support, helping with daily living tasks,and offering companionship.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Preparing meals and assisting with light domestic tasks
• Administering medication
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Encouraging hobbies, interests, and daily routines

Key Requirements

• You don't need experience – just compassion, reliability, and a desire to help others. We'll train you and support your journey every step of the way.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
