Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Feeding Machine Operative in Blackburn. This hands-on, repetitive production role suits candidates with experience in metalworking, manufacturing, or similar environments.

You will feed metal components into machinery, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, at £12.71 per hour. This is a long-term assignment with weekly pay and benefits after qualifying period.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience working with metal products/materials is essential.
• Ability to carry out repetitive tasks consistently and accurately.
• Comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Feeding metal components into machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out repetitive production tasks to meet output targets.
• Manual handling of materials and finished products.
• Performing quality checks on items throughout the production process.
• Reporting any faults, defects, or machine issues to supervisors.
