This is a fee-earning role in a busy firm of solicitors. Only those with a can-do attitude who want to progress their career should apply.

This mixed role provides various opportunities to develop experience and your career, including personal injury work, housing disrepair, probate and wills, powers of attorney, CCJ and debt, with attendance at court arranged for those keen to try advocacy.

We are looking for a Fee Earner (whether Trainee or Legal Exec or Paralegal) to assist with different types of work in a busy expanding civil litigation and private client firm. You will gain experience of court applications and consent orders and knowledge of the CPR. A positive can-do attitude, superb telephone manner, and excellent communication skills are essential. We act for both claimants and defendants.

Duties include:

• Handle inbound calls and process new leads with the aim of converting the leads to new clients.
• Record all client and third-party communications accurately on our case management system.
• Answer client queries and provide updates and advice in a pleasant professional manner via email or telephone.
• Draft witness statements and court documentation.
• Draft wills and powers of attorney.
• Assist reception with new inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge of Outlook/Word/Adobe/Proclaim is essential. A can-do attitude and willingness to work hard are crucial. You should ideally have an LLB and/or experience in a firm of solicitors. Persons seeking and having the necessary qualities and ambition to become a solicitor will be preferred.

We are an SRA regulated firm of solicitors; the right candidate may be considered for a training contract or advancement.
