Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a skilled Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to support a mainstream Further Education setting across three campuses in North London. You will deliver targeted SLT interventions to around 70 students, with many group sessions and occasional 1:1s, while upskilling staff and liaising with teaching teams.

The role is ideal for an experienced therapist who enjoys education, with an ASAP start and a contract running through the academic year until 4 July 2026.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience in education settings, FE or post-16 preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proactive coaching of education staff.
• Ability to work across multiple sites independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist speech and language therapy interventions for young adults in a mainstream FE setting.
• Conduct small group sessions, occasional 1:1s, classroom observations, and staff training.
• Liaise with teaching staff, support workers, and families to embed communication strategies.
• Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ learning goals.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and progress notes.
• Contribute to a student-centred, inclusive education environment.
