Qualifications

• Relevant degree and/or professional qualification in the appropriate subject area.
• A full teaching qualification is required.
• Experience of curriculum leadership or co-ordination within Further Education.
• Experience of curriculum planning and quality improvement.
• Experience of managing or leading teaching staff.
• Strong data analysis and performance management skills.
• Excellent communication, networking and partnership-building abilities.
• The confidence to lead, motivate and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery and development of Accounting & Finance programmes.
• Line manage and develop academic and technical staff.
• Monitor recruitment, retention, achievement and learner satisfaction.
• Lead quality assurance processes including observations and appraisals.
• Analyse curriculum performance data to drive improvements.
• Develop curriculum responding to learner and industry needs.
• Ensure effective assessment, moderation and verification processes.
• Work with employers and awarding bodies to strengthen progression opportunities.
• Support learner recruitment and curriculum growth.
• Manage staffing, resources and budgets.
