Job summary

Philosophy Education is seeking a Curriculum Manager for Accounting & Finance in London. Based in Finsbury Park, the role oversees the Accounting & Finance curriculum, ensuring high standards in teaching, learning and assessment while guiding a team of staff.

The role requires FE curriculum leadership experience, strong data analytics, and capacity to drive improvements in learner outcomes through performance management and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience of curriculum leadership or co-ordination within Further Education (FE).
• Strong data analysis and performance management skills.
• Excellent communication, networking and partnership-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery and development of Accounting & Finance programmes.
• Line manage and develop academic and technical staff.
• Monitor recruitment, retention, achievement and learner satisfaction; take corrective action.
• Lead quality assurance processes including lesson observations and staff appraisals.
• Analyse curriculum performance data to drive improvements and learner outcomes.
• Support development of new curriculum to meet learner, employer and industry needs.
• Ensure effective assessment, moderation and verification processes.
• Work with employers, awarding bodies and external partners to strengthen progression opportunities.
• Support learner recruitment and curriculum growth.
• Manage staffing, resources and budgets; contribute to wider planning.
