Aspire People, in partnership with Further Education providers across Newport, is recruiting experienced Childcare specialists and lecturers to join the team. You may deliver Childcare and Early Years sessions and support learners aiming for vocational qualifications.

You don’t necessarily need prior lecturing experience; strong professional background and the ability to inspire learners are valued. Full-time, part-time and flexible opportunities with competitive hourly rates exist.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging and motivating learners in a classroom or practical setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a learner-centred approach.
• Experience supporting learners, apprentices or trainees is desirable.
• Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification or equivalent is required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging Childcare and Early Years sessions.
• Support learners toward vocational qualifications.
• Teach child development, safeguarding and early years practice.
• Connect theoretical learning with real-world childcare practice.
• Assess learner work and monitor progress.
• Support learners to develop professional skills and confidence.
• Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships or further study.
• Support learners with SEN/ALN as needed.
