Job description

As a Band 7 First Contact Physiotherapist and MSK Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to further develop your clinical skills. This role is split, primarily working within the Hounslow PCN with one day in the MSK Department at West Middlesex Hospital. You will participate in our in-house development program, which aims to equip you with essential skills and attributes for your career. You will be part of a larger team focused on delivering high-quality care at the right time and place.

As the successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership qualities, and good organizational skills. You should be able to plan your own work effectively, work well within a team, and prioritize tasks to make sound decisions, sometimes under pressure. You will manage a varied caseload of musculoskeletal complaints, utilizing all appropriate treatment and care options with the support of a designated supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate the values of the Trust and the philosophy of the service at all times.
2. Meet the competency profile requirements of the role.
3. Provide highly skilled physiotherapy assessments, education, advice, and treatment to patients with MSK conditions referred to the service.
4. Act as a clinical role model, providing leadership and support to a team of clinical staff delivering outpatient care within the Trust, whether in small clinics at GP surgeries/health centers or in hospital outpatient physiotherapy departments.
5. Comply with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Guidelines, Health Professions Council Code of Conduct, and all relevant policies and procedures.
