Job summary

Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time FCP Physiotherapist to deliver First Contact Physiotherapy within NHS primary care in Bournemouth, in partnership with Bournemouth East Collaborative Primary Care Network. You will work in MSK and FCP teams, providing person-centred assessment and management with access to imaging and injection therapy.

The role offers consultant-level AHP leadership, regular clinical supervision, structured training, and ongoing CPD opportunities, with a focus

Qualifications

  • Post-registration experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
  • Fully qualified First Contact Practitioner with FCP roadmap completed.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK under current immigration rules.

Responsibilities

About the role

HSU Clinical Services have been delivering high-quality FCP services to our local primary care network for the past three years. We're now looking for a motivated and forward-thinking physiotherapist to join us:

  • First Contact Physiotherapy (FCP) within NHS primary care, in partnership with Bournemouth East Collaborative Primary Care Network

The role will be part of a team led by our MSK physiotherapy team lead in providing a First Contact Physiotherapy service, where you'll provide high-quality, person-centred assessment and management within primary care.

This role is supported by consultant-level AHP leadership, with access to imaging, injection therapy. We are committed to your development, offering regular clinical supervision, structured training, and ongoing opportunities for CPD.

About the person

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced specialist physiotherapist to join our well-established First Contact services. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable post-registration experience, including musculoskeletal practice, and be a fully qualified First Contact Practitioner who has completed the FCP roadmap to practice - preferably with injection and/or prescribing rights.

You will be confident working independently while also thriving as part of a progressive, multi-disciplinary team.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum & Nationality Act 2006.
