Job summary

IPS Group Limited is a fast-growing property development and investment group backed by substantial financial resources. We are seeking an ambitious Financial Controller who can take ownership of the finance function and develop into the group's Finance Director.

Based in Harrogate, the role involves managing day-to-day finance, cash flow forecasting, group consolidation, and reporting to investors and lenders, with a clear path to FD.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with industry or practice experience.
• Experience managing finance functions and group reporting.
• Strong skills in cash flow forecasting and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the finance function.
• Prepare management accounts, budgets and cash flows.
• Lead cash flow forecasting across multiple projects.
• Oversee group consolidation and reporting.
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders and investors.
• Develop and coach the finance team.

As the business continues to scale, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Financial Controller who can take ownership of the finance function and develop into the group's Finance Director.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function while also acting as a key point of contact for investors, lenders and other senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be expected to get involved, take ownership and become a key member of the senior management team.

Responsibilities will include:

• - Taking overall responsibility for the finance function
• - Preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections
• - Leading cash flow forecasting across a growing portfolio of developments
• - Managing financial reporting across multiple SPVs
• - Overseeing group consolidation and reporting
• - Managing relationships with banks, lenders, investors and other external stakeholders
• - Understanding and managing debt facilities and lender requirements
• - Supporting funding proposals and development finance
• - Working closely with the development and senior management teams
• - Improving financial processes, controls and reporting as the group scales
• - Managing and developing a finance team
• - Aquisitions and disposals.

This role would suit a highly motivated and ambitious qualified accountant from industry or practice who is looking to fast track into a Financial Director role.
