Schneider Electric is seeking a FAT Engineer to ensure LV switchboards, MCCs, and control systems meet customer specs before dispatch. You will plan, witness, and record FAT activities, driving quality and traceability across testing processes.

Based in our UK manufacturing operations, you will collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and project teams to deliver on time while advancing digital testing and continuous improvement in test efficiency and documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in FAT/commissioning/testing in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong fault-finding, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with digital manufacturing and quality systems for test recording and traceability.
• Commitment to Right-First-Time delivery and safety standards.

Aufgaben

• Plan, coordinate, and execute FAT for LV switchboards, MCCs, and control systems.
• Verify products meet customer specs, drawings, and industry standards.
• Conduct functional, electrical, protection, and communication testing.
• Lead customer witness testing and provide technical support.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve non-conformances during testing.
• Produce and maintain FAT records, reports, and digital quality records (LDS, DISS).
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and project teams for timely delivery.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality improvements.
• Champion continuous improvement to reduce defects and improve test efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, electrical safety, and quality standards.
• Support customer audits, inspections, and site acceptance preparation.
