Job summary

Micheldever Tyres is seeking a Stock Operative on a 6 month contract to join our Chepstow warehouse. The role includes picking orders, locating/putting away stock, and assisting in stock movements.

Occasional van or forklift work may be required, with weekend support for stock takes on overtime. Reporting to the Stock Supervisor, you will contribute to efficient stock handling and accuracy, with a focus on health and safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a similar fast-paced role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan optimized use of warehouse storage and stock locations.
• Ensure accuracy of stock audits and aisle audits.
• Assist with stock rotation, condensing and movements.
• Support stock returns and credit notes procedures.
