Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Northampton‑Upton to support the daily flow of operations by receiving, storing and dispatching goods. You will work across warehouse areas using handheld scanners and follow Health & Safety regulations.

The role requires proven experience in a fast‑paced warehouse, a proactive approach, and flexibility to assist with packing or forklift tasks as needed. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proactive and hands-on with ability to operate pallets and packing tasks as required.
• Good communication skills with team and overseas colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute goods accurately.
• Pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners.
• Load orders onto courier vehicles by hand or with equipment as needed.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain organised inventory locations.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and comply with health & safety protocols.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Meet KPIs and SLAs, particularly during the Friday shift.
• Participate in training and development to grow skills.
