Our client, a reputable family-run automotive garage in Guildford, is seeking a skilled Fast Fit Technician to join their dedicated team. Qualifications

• Experienced tyre technician or fast fit mechanic.
• Strong skills in tyre fitting and basic mechanical repairs.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy workshop environment.
• Knowledge of wheel alignment, brakes, exhausts, and AC is desirable.
• Excellent customer service and proactive approach.
• Willingness to learn and engage in manufacturer training.
• Experience in automotive garages or service centres.

Responsibilities

• Perform tyre fitting to a high standard, including puncture repairs and runflat/EV tyres.
• Conduct wheel alignments (training provided; preferred but not essential).
• Carry out vehicle health checks and fault diagnoses.
• Perform routine repairs such as brake replacements, exhaust fitting, and air conditioning servicing.
• Liaise with customers to explain required work and promote additional services.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
• Stay up-to-date with automotive technology and training sessions.

• Stay up-to-date with automotive technology advancements and participate in training sessions

Requirements of a Fast Fit Technician:
