Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced Fast-Fit/Tyre Centre Manager for its Bath branch. The role focuses on leading daily operations, motivating staff, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical vehicle knowledge, manage costs, and drive sales growth while maintaining health and safety. Overtime may be required as part of a 42.5-hour week, Mon-Fri with alternating Saturdays.

We are currently seeking an experienced Fast-Fit/Tyre Centre Manager to join our client, a leading UK tyre retailer, at their Bath location. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in automotive retail management and technical vehicle knowledge. The successful individual will have a pivotal role in leading daily operations, motivating the team, and delivering exceptional customer service. Our client offers a competitive salary, performance-related bonuses, and comprehensive benefits package.

• Competitive salary between £38,000 and £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Average centre performance-related bonuses of approximately £3,600 annually
• Up to 32 days' holiday including bank holidays, plus a day off for your birthday

Duties Fast-Fit/Tyre Centre Manager:

• Manage and motivate workshop and front-of-house teams to achieve sales targets and deliver high standards of customer service
• Lead the daily operations of the centre, ensuring efficient running and compliance with company standards
• Maximise customer conversion rates through effective communication and follow-up procedures
• Maintain security of premises, stock, assets, customer information, and cash
• Oversee stock control systems, ensuring proper management and accurate audit records
• Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and serviced regularly for safe operation
• Manage stock deliveries, ensuring timely booking and storage
• Support workshop operations with technical knowledge and assistance when required
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, security, and compliance

Requirements of the Fast-Fit/Tyre Centre Manager:

• Proven management/supervisory experience within automotive retail, tyre retail, or related sector
• Strong technical understanding of vehicles with hands-on mechanical knowledge
• Demonstrated success in leading, developing, and motivating a team
• Experience in driving sales growth and managing costs effectively
• Customer-focused mentality, with the ability to deliver consistent high-quality service
• Excellent organisational and stock control skills as the Fast-Fit/Tyre Centre Manager
• Full UK driving license with minimal points
