Job summary

Reiss in London is seeking a Trainee Product Developer to support the Product Development team across the full product lifecycle, assisting with sourcing, costing and supplier communication. You will work with Design and our supplier base on fabrics, yarns, prints and garments, manage tech packs and development information, and help ensure samples and critical path updates are on time.

Qualifications

• Interest in fashion product development and understanding of garment or fabric processes.
• Highly organized with ability to keep trackers and product information accurate.
• Proactive with confidence to follow up with suppliers and internal teams.
• Strong communication with design, product, buying, merchandising and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Development team with sourcing and development of fabrics, yarns, prints and garments.
• Send tech packs, samples and development information to suppliers and support costings.
• Assist costing activities by following up detailed breakdowns.
• Manage product development trackers and Vision ensuring costings and dates are accurate.
• Attend weekly progress meetings to keep development on track for deadlines.
• Coordinate tech pack handovers and prep samples for seasonal buy meetings.
• Support sustainability goals and maintain supplier relationships to hit quality and margins.
