Roles & responsibilities

  1. Reporting to the lead photographer, you will be responsible for shooting aspirational, on-brand product-focused fashion photography across model, still life, and video disciplines.
  2. You will demonstrate creative and technical skill, giving clear model directions on set, managing poses, mood, and overall feel in collaboration with the shoot team. Ensuring product details are fully visible while maintaining an aspirational look to keep N Brown imagery ahead of competitors.
  3. You should have a solid understanding of LED and flash lighting, Capture One, and Canon camera systems, translating this knowledge on set.
  4. You will deliver each shoot to targets and deadlines, exceeding creative benchmarks when possible.
  5. You will support training and development of colleagues and freelancers regarding studio setup, photographic settings, equipment, and shoot guidelines.
  6. You will understand and adapt to creative changes within the department, collaborating on castings and projects like headshots, competitions, and briefs.
  7. You will conduct monthly reviews with the lead photographer, focusing on pose, mood, and overall look.
  8. You will stay updated with industry photographic trends and styles to keep N Brown relevant and continuously develop your creative skills, staying informed about fashion, social media, and general trends.
  9. You will proactively maintain studio equipment, ensuring optimal working condition and timely replacements.
  10. You will engage in training and development initiatives, embodying N Brown’s values and behaviors.
  11. You will work closely with leads and management to deliver the department’s strategy, building strong, collaborative relationships within the studio team.
  12. You will follow the N Brown asset guide and studio handbook to ensure consistent product shooting across all functions.
