Job summary

Westpoint Farm Vets in Winchester is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our farm-only practice. You will conduct independent herd health visits and fertility work for a diverse client base across cattle, sheep, and camelids.

The role offers a 4.5 day week and an on-call rota, with generous CPD and benefits through VetPartners. Starting salary ranges up to £60k per annum depending on experience, with advertised starting levels of £35k–£55k.

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team at Westpoint Winchester due to one of our vets moving abroad.

We are 6 dedicated farm only Vets, with an excellent office support team and 2 ATTs.

We have a diverse variety of clients, including large contract dairy farms, commercial beef and sheep farms, camelids and a variety of small holders.With services such as dairy consultancy and Advanced Reproduction services in Cattle and small ruminants, there’s something for everyone, and plenty of opportunity for developing a speciality.

Alongside working with one of the nicest teams you could wish for, it’s a lovely part of the world to live in. Within easy reach of the South coast, the South Downs, and London, for all your off-duty interests!

We are looking for an experienced Vet who is confident with independent herd health visits and fertility work.
