Job summary

ADM Agriculture seeks a Farm Trader in Peterborough to purchase grain, oilseeds and pulses from farmers and sell seed and fertiliser products while promoting ADM's technical services to farmers. The role includes managing existing accounts, developing new business relationships, and negotiating contracts within ADM's terms.

You will promote campaigns with the Retail department, provide outstanding customer service to enquiries, and leverage knowledge of combinable crops and markets to grow

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of combinable crops, OSR, pulses and their markets.
• Knowledge of seed varieties and dressings.
• Knowledge of fertiliser types and their uses.
• Experience with MS Office and bespoke systems will aid day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Purchase grain, oilseeds and pulses from farmers and develop new business.
• Negotiate contracts with farmers within ADM terms and price range.
• Sell seed and fertiliser products to existing accounts and new customers.
• Promote campaigns in liaison with the Retail department.
• Provide outstanding customer service for business enquiries.
• Promote ADM's technical services to farmers.
• Manage workload to maximise account and business potential.
