Job summary

ADM Agriculture is seeking a Farm Trader in Wisbech to purchase grain, oilseeds and pulses from farmers and to promote ADM's seed and fertiliser products and technical services to growers. The role focuses on managing existing accounts, developing new business, negotiating contracts, and delivering outstanding customer service while promoting campaigns with the Retail department.

Candidates should have strong farming knowledge, the ability to engage stakeholders, and proficient use of Microsoft

Qualifications

Excellent understanding of combinable crops, OSR, pulses and their markets.
Experience with grain contracts (AIC/FOSFA) preferred.
Knowledge of seed varieties and dressings; fertiliser types.
Arable farming experience and supplier relationship building.

Responsibilities

Purchase grain, oilseeds and pulses from farmers and develop new business.
Negotiate contracts within ADM terms and price range.
Sell seed and fertiliser products to existing accounts and new prospects.
Promote campaigns in liaison with Retail department.
Provide outstanding customer service and follow up on inquiries.
Promote ADM technical services to farmers and manage workload to maximise potential.
