Location: Lincolnshire (travel to company farms required)
Hours: 40 hours per week, working any 5 days from 7 (6 when required)
Pay Rate: £13.12 per hour
Join Our Farming Team
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Farm Support Assistant to join our broiler farming operations across Lincolnshire. This is a hand-on role that plays a vital part in preparing our farms to receive birds and ensuring high standards are maintained across our sites. The successful candidate will travel between our farms, supporting farm teams with a variety of tasks to ensure facilities are fully prepared and operational before bird placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of poultry farms, ensuring high standards of bird welfare, health and safety, and biosecurity at all times.
- Assist with preparing poultry houses for bird placements, including monitoring ventilation, heating, feed, water and lighting systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records relating to birds, feed, supplies and farm activities.
- Support operational activities such as bird weighing, vaccinations, catching and collections to ensure efficient flock management.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the farm, keeping buildings, grounds and roadways clean and tidy.
- Monitor farm equipment, report defects and assist with minor repairs where appropriate.
- Ensure all company procedures, hygiene standards and environmental practices are followed, including waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
- Work closely with Farm Managers and farm teams to support flock performance and farm security.
- Participate in training and development activities to build knowledge of poultry production and farm management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.

- Willingness to travel to different farm locations across Lincolnshire.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Previous agricultural or poultry experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
