Job summary

Ethero Ltd is seeking a Farm operative in Ashby-De-La-Zouch, Leicestershire to join an on-going temporary role. The job involves operating production machines, preparing growing houses, and following safety guidelines under the Farm Supervisor.

You will work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts, starting at 6:30 until finish, with forklift training provided if needed. The role offers on-site parking and a private pension, with pay at £12.71 plus piece work.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to cope with fast-paced environment.
• Able to follow instructions with minimal explanation.
• Be accurate and methodical in work.
• Fork Lift experience will be considered an advantage but not essential as training can be provided where required.

• Follow H&S Policies & Procedures at all times.
• Work mostly indoors in varying environments.
• Ensure tasks meet required standards within allocated times.
• Report issues to the Farm Supervisor or Farm Managers.
• Harvest product efficiently, maintaining picking performance and quality.
• Keep working area clean and tidy.

Key Duties:

• To perform a wide range of jobs, from operating production critical machines to emptying and washing growing houses ready for the next growing cycle.
• To work under the Farm Supervisor to complete issued tasks
• To work within our guidelines, ensuring the necessary H&S Policies & Procedures are practiced
• To work in different environments, the majority of which are carried out indoors
• To ensure jobs are performed to the required standards within allocated times
• To report any issues to the Farm Supervisor or Farm Managers
• To harvest product efficiently, maintaining picking performance and quality levels
• To ensure your working area is kept clear, clean and tidy

Pay: £12.71 plus piece work rate

Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.

Full details of the role, assignment, pay, and any applicable terms will be provided before you agree to proceed. Where required, a Key Information Document will be issued before engagement.
