Carrs Billington Agriculture (Sales) Ltd. is seeking a motivated Machinery Yard Operative for our ANNAN depot.

You will help run the day-to-day activities of the machinery yard, ensuring efficient operations, neat presentation, and high safety standards while supporting a friendly team. Key tasks include unloading wagons, loading machinery, moving tractors and equipment, preparing machinery for delivery, checking for defects, and keeping the yard tidy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience driving tractors, telehandlers, forklifts.
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
• Commitment to a clean and safe working environment.
• Customer-focused with high level of service.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming wagons and delivery vehicles safely.
• Load agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Move and deliver tractors and machinery to customers and suppliers.
• Prepare new, used and demonstration machinery.
• Perform basic checks and report any issues.
• Clean and present machinery to a high standard.
• Maintain a tidy, hazard-free yard.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
