Job summary

Booker Group plc is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer/Technician for the Fareham site. The role covers general repairs and planned maintenance of site equipment, with a background in building services and electrical/mechanical systems being advantageous.

The role suits someone from a fast-paced 24/7 environment, with late evening shifts, overnight call-outs and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is essential.
• Practical experience in building maintenance or facilities.
• Competent in basic electrical skills and building services.
• Experience managing contractors and service providers.
• Good knowledge of health & safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the RSC Maintenance Engineer with general maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure legal compliance for maintenance activities.
• Keep accurate maintenance records on file at the RSC.
• Manage third-party service contracts effectively.
• Provide support to other RSCs as required.
