Job summary

Booker is seeking a Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join our Maintenance team at the Fareham site. The role covers general repairs and planned maintenance on site equipment, with a background in building services or facilities and knowledge of HVAC, electrical or mechanical systems being beneficial.

We operate in a fast-paced 24/7 environment and the role requires late evening shifts and overnight call-outs, with weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is required.
• Practical experience in a trade relevant to buildings maintenance.
• Competent in basic electrical skills.
• Managing contractors/service providers.
• Good working knowledge of building services.
• Experience of working to required H&S standards.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the RSC Maintenance Engineer with general maintenance and repair throughout the Regional Service Centre (RSC), ensuring downtime is minimized.
• Ensuring the RSC meets legal compliance for maintenance.
• Maintaining maintenance records for building and equipment at the RSC.
• Managing third party service contracts effectively.
• Providing support to other RSCs as required.
