Akorn Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced CNC Turner - Setter/Operator to join a precision engineering team in East Grinstead. The role is 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with setting and operating CNC turning machines (Fanuc), loading programmes, setting tooling, and inspecting components against drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience setting CNC turning machines.
• Proficient with Fanuc controls and programming
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls.
• Setting tooling, work offsets and machine parameters.
• Loading and adjusting programmes as required.
• Running production machines, monitoring output and maintaining quality.
• Inspecting components using precision measuring equipment and working to engineering drawings.
• Identifying and resolving machining issues to maintain production efficiency and quality.
