Overview

A fantastic opportunity has become available to work with a warm and professional family seeking an experienced nanny to care for two children, aged 5 and 3 years. The role offers the chance to be a valued part of a welcoming household, providing nurturing, engaging, and attentive care in a supportive environment. The children enjoy craft, imaginative play, and outdoor activities, and the nanny will actively engage them, plan fun and creative activities, and organise exciting outings.

Responsibilities

• Support the children with their morning routine, including preparing a nutritious breakfast and helping them get ready for the day.
• Undertake school drop-offs and collections from a local school.
• Assist with children’s laundry and preparing school bags for the following day.
• Support playtime, reading, homework, mealtimes, and the bath routine.
• Plan and organise engaging activities and outings to suit the children's interests.
• Be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence and own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny.
• 12-hour Paediatric First Aid (or equivalent) and Enhanced DBS (update).
• Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• Full driving licence, own car, and willingness to drive as part of duties.

Job Details

• Location: Colchester, Essex
• Hours of work: 6:55am – 8:15am and 2:30pm – 6:30pm
• Days required: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Pay: £18.00 Gross per hour, £14,976 Gross per annum
