Job summary

Staffordshire County Council invites applications for a Part-time Family Time Worker to support children in foster care. Based at The Vision Centre, Chesterton, you will supervise family time, assist with transport, and offer parenting guidance while maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Direct work with children and families in relevant services.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft packages.
• Understanding of policies governing children's social care.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic family time between children and their parents or relatives.
• Coordinate family time arrangements as directed by court.
• Transport children and young people to attend family time.
• Provide parenting support and guidance during family time.
• Assist with accurate documentation, reports and records.
• Be available outside traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
