Job summary

Bowerhill Primary School in Melksham is seeking a Family Support Worker to join our caring team. The role is permanent and part-time, with 13 hours across 39 working weeks and flexibility on days and pattern. The salary range is set at WHFNJC M Grade for actual salary.

The role involves working with parents, carers, pupils and external agencies to ensure all pupils can participate fully in school life. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in childcare and be able to handle confidential information

All About You

Do you have what it takes to join us? The Family Support Worker we would like to join us will be:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or have similar experience) in a relevant discipline such as childcare, social work, family work etc.
• Experience and success of working with parents, carers, pupils and outside agencies.
• Able to deal confidentially and confidently with difficult situations and sensitive issues.
• Flexible and committed to working with our most vulnerable children and their families.
