Job summary

Aberlour Family Support Services Glasgow is seeking a Family Support Worker to build person-centred relationships with families, using a VOICE, VALIDATION and HOPE approach. You will support children and their families to thrive, including evenings and weekends, across Glasgow areas.

You will assess strengths and needs, plan and evaluate interventions, and collaborate with services to empower families and strengthen community connections.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable families to assess strengths and needs.
• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate interventions and strategies for family thriving.
• Comfort with early mornings, evenings and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Develop person-centred working relationships with families, based on VOICE, VALIDATION and HOPE.
• Deliver interventions to strengthen skills and confidence in children and parents/carers.
• Support across Glasgow Family Support Services and travel within the wider Glasgow area.
