Location: Rochdale, OL11
Salary: £12.50 per hour + £50 Sleep

Our Client
Reconstruct are recruiting Therapeutic Care Practitioners for a Residential Family Assessment Centre in Rochdale. The service will open its doors to families undergoing parenting assessments and will provide detailed, objective, evidence-based reports based on parenting capacity.

The Role
Therapeutic Care Practitioners work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to support families throughout their assessment process and provide detailed, objective, thorough, and evidence-based evaluations of parenting capacity. Assessments help to make informed decisions about the best living arrangements and needs of families.

1. Working with families in line with their family placement plan
2. Contributing towards the parenting assessment while working with colleagues, management, and social care
3. Adhering to family placement plans, organisational policies and procedures, and best practice requirements
4. Safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable families
5. Ensuring a safe and protective environment for children and families
6. Establishing nurturing relationships with families to help them navigate through the assessment process
7. Conflict resolution and management, behaviour management, and appropriately addressing issues in the centre/home
8. Ensuring observation records are completed to a very high standard
9. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings, regular supervision, and appraisal
10. Proactively contributing concerns around conduct and standards within a wider team of professionals
11. Adhering to all health and safety and workplace policies and procedures
