This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll build relationships with families, support children to achieve positive outcomes and help parents and carers make lasting changes. No two days are the same. One day you might be carrying out direct work with a young person, the next supporting family time, attending meetings with partner agencies or helping a family overcome challenges at home.
We're looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children, young people and families. Builds positive and trusting relationships. Is compassionate, resilient and approachable. Can work independently whilst being part of a supportive team. Is committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
In return, we offer:
A welcoming and supportive team environment. Regular supervision and development opportunities. Training in trauma-informed and relationship-based practice. A rewarding role where you can see the difference your work makes every day. Competitive local authority terms and conditions.
Why Ellon?
Ellon offers the best of both worlds, vibrant communities, beautiful countryside, stunning coastline and easy access to Aberdeen. Based within Ellon Family Centre, you'll join a passionate team dedicated to helping local children and families thrive.
If you're passionate about supporting children and families and want a role that truly makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
