Family Support Worker Position in Falkirk

Archer Resourcing has a great new opportunity for a Family Support Worker in Falkirk!

The Falkirk team is seeking a passionate individual dedicated to providing guidance and emotional support to families. You will work in partnership with children and their families to address issues that prevent regular school attendance.

Responsibilities include:

1. Understanding and analyzing school attendance and late-coming data
2. Liaising with the Pastoral and Pupil Support teams to implement actions promoting attendance
3. Investigating causes of attendance issues and targeting interventions
4. Visiting families to address attendance and welfare concerns
5. Supporting young people in achieving literacy and numeracy qualifications and liaising with support teams for positive outcomes
6. Preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation for individual cases
7. Attending Team Around the Child (TAC) meetings as appropriate

Requirements:

1. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
2. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
3. Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months (preferably on the update service)
